60 minutes. Unlike typical 50-minute sessions, I provide a full hour because those extra 10 minutes often make a meaningful difference.
I keep my caseload small so that your session feels private, exclusive, and tailored—no rushing, no waiting, no distractions.
It’s simple: click Book an Appointment on the website.
We use JaneApp, a HIPAA-compliant EHR system that lets you check in easily from your phone when you arrive.
Sessions start at $200 per hour and vary depending on service type and time. Prices for different therapy options are listed on the website.
Payments are processed electronically through our patient portal. A card is securely kept on file, and JaneApp automatically charges after your appointment.
No, unfortunately Set Apart Oasis Counseling is strictly private pay practice. This ensures maximize privacy, flexibility, and allows for more individualized care without many of the limitations or restrictions that can come with insurance-based treatment.
However, some clients may qualify for reimbursement through their out-of-network insurance benefits and may wish to explore this option. We are happy to support you by providing you with a superbill or different reimbursement support options clients have used.

This is a one-time 20-minute consultation for first time clients considering therapy. We can connect virtually or by phone.
This is simply a gentle first step to connect, ask questions, and gain clarity on how we may be able to support you. Together, we’ll briefly explore what’s bringing you in, answer any questions you may have, and see if it feels like the right fit for your needs.

We’ll explore your goals, current challenges, and desired changes. Sessions are relational, supportive, and tailored to your pace.
It depends on:
- Your goals and desired outcomes
- The complexity of the issues you bring
- Your commitment to the process
Some clients achieve results in a few months; others stay longer for deeper healing. I recommend weekly sessions for the first month to build a strong foundation, then we reassess for your preferred rhythm. The goal is not to stay in therapy forever, but to help you grow, heal, and feel equipped for the future.
Yes, often. Crying is a healthy release, a sign of relief, and part of processing emotions safely. It’s natural and part of the healing journey.
No. Share only what you feel comfortable with. Therapy is relational and organic. Over time, you may feel empowered to explore deeper layers at your own pace. My promise: no pressure, just authentic connection.
Yes. In addition to in-person appointments, I provide telehealth sessions tailored to your needs.
Therapy is about emotional safety, connection, and trust. My approach is relational, attentive, and tailored to your story.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Function well outwardly but feel stuck inside
- Struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or relationship patterns
- Are navigating life transitions, grief, or challenges in your relationships
Couples and individuals seeking relational healing or navigating complex emotions may also find my approach beneficial.
Not at all. Seeking therapy shows courage, self-awareness, and strength. It’s a skill to practice vulnerability and work on growth, rather than handling everything alone.
While our friends/family may care deeply, by offering advice, opinions, or everyday conversation, therapy offers a different kind of support.
Therapy is confidential and focused on helping you work through your challenges and goals.
Therapists are professionally trained to understand human behavior, emotional patterns, relationships, and mental health challenges - offering support, insight, education, and guidance in ways that go beyond everyday support alone. While each therapist’s clinical training and experience may differ, therapy should provide support through a professional informed lens.
Therapy can help you:
✓ Gain insight into patterns, emotions, and relationships
✓ Process experiences in a safe and supportive environment
✓ Develop healthier coping skills, communication, and self-awareness
✓ Move through life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence
