Hi, I’m Bithiah.

I believe therapy is more than just talking. It’s a place to Get Unstuck. To feel seen. A space where you can show up as you are -without masks - and begin healing what's happening within.

My Journey

I’ve always been drawn to human stories - the raw, real, and sometimes painful moments that shape us. Early in my career, I began working in hospital and clinical settings, helping people in crisis, supporting trauma survivors, and guiding those who often felt unseen or unheard.

Over time, I realized I wanted something more; and so I ventured deeper into the therapy world and eventually created the vision for Set Apart Oasis Counseling.

A space where therapy could feel personal, intimate, and transformative. A place where each session honors your pace, your story, and your innate resilience.

That’s what brought me into private practice, to create a home for care that FEELS different, where meaningful movement forward is possible.

My inspiration has been shaped by years of witnessing how emotional pain, unresolved patterns, and life’s challenges can leave people feeling stuck and disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or the life they long to have. My passion grew from this place, and it’ exactly why I do what I do: to help people move toward deep healing, not away from it.

In my own life, I know how impactful real, relational, and restorative human connection has been in my personal growth journey, and I simply hope to offer the same to others. I deeply value honoring each person’s faith, values, and the experiences that have shaped who they are.

How I Work

When we meet, therapy with me is:

  • Relational & compassionate: I am walking with you, not ahead of you.

  • Rooted in your story: We explore patterns, experiences, and what truly matters to you.

  • Authentic & honest: I hold space for your growth while keeping it real - you’ll always feel heard, and not judged. My heart is that you feel supported, challenged when needed, and guided through honest conversation.

  • Insight-oriented & practical: Together, we work toward deeper understanding, meaningful healing, and movement forward.

  • Flexible & trauma-informed: From a relational to grief, transitions, self-esteem, and trauma work, our pace and approach adapt to your needs. We care. Our approach is shaped around your needs and the pace that feels right for you. Together, we create a therapy experience that feels supportive and intentional.

Who I Serve

I work with adults who:

  • Appear “fine” on the outside but feels stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed inside

  • Are navigating relationship challenges, major life transitions, grief, insecurities, or emotional pain.

  • Experience overthinking, people-pleasing, stress, or a growing sense of unhappiness beneath the surface

  • Are tired of repeating the same struggles, desire greater clarity, and meaningful change and ready for something different

  • Want more than just coping strategies, and are open to personal growth, deeper healing and inner work

  • Desire their faith to be thoughtfully integrated in ways that support healing and growth

A Bit More About Me

Before anything else, I want you to know that I see therapy as more than just clinical work . I see it as a human connection.

I bring years of clinical experience, training, and hands-on practice supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relational struggles, and life transitions. My background also includes crisis and psychiatric response work within hospital emergency settings, consultation services, and occasional travel-based crisis response during times of community need, disasters, and high-demand mental health situations.

But beyond my professional life and credentials, there’s also a personal side to who I am.

I’m a wife, mother of three (including one who is almost 18 - which still feels surreal), and a person of faith who deeply values authentic, compassionate human connection. I was raised in a large family full of personality, complexity, and various relationships - experiences that shape the way I understand people, connection, and the realities life can bring, especially during demanding or uncertain seasons.

Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to honest conversations, time with family, faith activities, interior design, music, and creativity. While I tend to be reflective and relational, I also have an outgoing side and genuinely value authenticity, depth, and keeping things real.

I believe in empowering people - not just helping them survive, but helping them reconnect with themselves, their values, and the life they desire.

At the heart of my work, I strive to see the person beneath the struggle - not just the symptoms they carry.

Why This Matters

Therapy should feel human, you're not alone in what you’re carrying.

If you’re looking for therapy that feels real, relational, and restorative, I’d love to connect with you.
